I'm not a teacher but I decided that someone has to be the first to create a post.

when I was laid off several years ago I decided to teach myself how to knit. It is amazing how much information there is on You-tube and this is the first thing you need to know to get started knitting. I found that the hardest part about learning to knit was learning to hold the needles.

Today our mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that the Chicago Public School will to out until April 20th, 2020 due to the COVID-19. As Whitney Houston said, "I believe children are our future", and so do I. They are our future nurses, doctors, teachers, lawyers and yes Presidents. If they fall behind in life so do we. I don't have school age children but I remember helping mine with his homework and this is a big responsibility as a parent. As parents we think our children should know what we know and we can't understand why they don't get it the first or second time, why, because we are not teachers. We have not been trained to be patient with the future minds of this world.
We are always answering to challenges, therefore I challenge all the educators to prepare a lesson plan and present it on this page to keep our out of school children up to date.
My first challenge goes out to my sister Carolyn Morgan, Delondra Ward and Stacy O'Daniel not just because they are my sister, cousin and stepdaughter but because they are the only active teachers I know and I know they are going stir crazy because they like to be on the go and have a reason to comb their hair. LOL
This is not just for little kids but for all kids that has an interest in keeping up with their school work and maybe just a little to help those parents that need a break and give their children something to do.
As my sister Carolyn Morgan stated in an earlier post she is a Face book ju**ie and so are most. So let's do this teachers, REACH ONE TEACH ONE.
