Welcome back! Below, you will find some answers to the frequently asked questions for SY27.

When is the first day of school?
K-8: Monday, August 24, 2026
PreK: Tuesday, August 25, 2026

What time does the school day begin/end?
The school day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm.

What time will all entry doors open in the morning?
All doors will open at 8:30am

Where should my child enter in the morning and exit in the afternoon?

Door #1
7th and 8th Grade (Rms.101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, & 114).

Door # 4
3rd-6th Grades (Rms. 113, 118, 120, 122, 213, 218, 224, 226, 202, 205, 207, 210, 203, 204, 206, & 208).

Door #10
Kindergarten and Pre-k (Rms 401, 404, 406, 402, and 403).

Door #11
Full/Half Day Pre-k (Rms 405, 407, & 408)

Door #13
1st and 2nd Grade (Rms 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, & 308).

6th grade will enter in the morning through door #4 and exit through door #1 in the afternoon.

🎉 Back-to-School Bash! 📚✏️

We had such a great time welcoming our students and families back to school! It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces as students met their teachers, enjoyed fun activities, and picked up lots of goodies. ❤️

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did and that our students are excited and ready for an amazing school year! 🍎✨

What a great way to end the school year! 🎉 Our annual Fun Fair was a huge success, filled with games, laughter, and plenty of opportunities for students to connect and make memories with one another. From sweet treats and chips to awesome music from the DJ, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event such a fun and memorable celebration! 🎶🍭🎈☀️💙 A special thanks to all the seventh graders that managed all of the games successfully.

📚☀️ Dawes Preschool Picnic Celebration! ☀️📚

Our Dawes preschoolers enjoyed a wonderful picnic as we celebrated all of the milestones, growth, and achievements from this school year! From making new friends and learning new skills to building confidence and independence, our students have accomplished so much.

We are so proud of each and every child and grateful to our families and staff for supporting them every step of the way. Here’s to a year full of learning, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime!
