I decided to be brave and post my practice session of Bach's Cello Suite No. 1. As you know, I am proficient on piano and violin. The other instrument I can play is viola. I added cello a few years back because it is honestly my favorite string instrument! Then I began teaching basic fundamentals when a young student came for piano lessons but wouldn't sit still. He saw my cello in a corner, pointed, and said, "I want to learn that!" So, now, I have two beginner cello students.
As you can see, I am still a novice at the cello. It is so different from the violin. But I am determined to muster enough strength to put together a mini cello recital one day. In the meantime, I keep practicing to get better because, in the words of one of my students, "Practice is everything!" The other instruments I am learning are the guitar and bass guitar.
I encourage you to go after all you desire to learn. As long as you have breath, you can do it. Build slowly and don't stop practicing. Progress comes as long as you keep moving.
