I am an accomplished musician (violin/viola). I am a music teacher-artist and coach. I am an author.

This page is dedicated to sharing the story of how I learned to stop sitting and stand by sharing my life as a musician, teacher, coach, and author.

My song 'Remember' is about holding on to the truth of God's Word. We do that by actively recalling His truth, His promises, and His glory, so that even in life's trials, we can stand firm.
2 Peter 1:12-21 is a good reminder to remember!

This is an iteration of the song. More to come!

Leave Some Room | Impact Worship 03/17/2024

Who is this for?

This morning upon waking I heard the words, “Make some room. He’s not done yet,” followed by the melody of the song our son produced for Impact Church. So I turned on the song “Leave Some Room,” which dropped in February 2024. May this song minister to you today. And don’t forget to write down what God is doing in your life - and leave room because He’s not done. Did you think it is over? Your story will encourage someone toward Christ!

“We are not meant to strive but trust in the One who supplies. It’s in the trusting we thrive,” Mrs. Phyllis Calderon

I decided to be brave and post my practice session of Bach's Cello Suite No. 1. As you know, I am proficient on piano and violin. The other instrument I can play is viola. I added cello a few years back because it is honestly my favorite string instrument! Then I began teaching basic fundamentals when a young student came for piano lessons but wouldn't sit still. He saw my cello in a corner, pointed, and said, "I want to learn that!" So, now, I have two beginner cello students.

As you can see, I am still a novice at the cello. It is so different from the violin. But I am determined to muster enough strength to put together a mini cello recital one day. In the meantime, I keep practicing to get better because, in the words of one of my students, "Practice is everything!" The other instruments I am learning are the guitar and bass guitar.

I encourage you to go after all you desire to learn. As long as you have breath, you can do it. Build slowly and don't stop practicing. Progress comes as long as you keep moving. If you'd like some help along your journey, reach out to me at https://atouchofclassicalplus.duetpartner.com or [email protected].

Praise Adjusts 10/03/2023

Praise Adjusts Praise God because it will adjust and refocus your heart to its correct position. “Praise adjusts” was the gentle whisper in my ear as I awoke, so I now share it with you.
