Our weekend builders at Village of North Riverside Parks & Recreation put the laws of physics to the test by constructing motorized gyroscopes. They loved seeing how the rapidly spinning wheel generates angular momentum to maintain its position, resisting any movement even when the base of the model is turned. ⚖️

Our Near North Montessori School class had a blast building and upgrading Motorbikes this week. Along the way, they had a lesson on how crown gears transfer power at a 90-degree angle, but the real highlight was seeing their custom creations zoom across the classroom floor! 💨
