Our students at Franklin Elementary have been hard at work this summer — designing, building, and testing their very own robots!

Through hands-on learning and teamwork, these young minds are stepping into the world of robotics and engineering with creativity and curiosity.

This is from NASA’s official Jet Propulsion Lab site, and it's perfect for kids, parents, and classrooms. The activity teaches basic physics, trajectory, and design — and it only needs paper, tape, scissors, and a straw!

Thank you all for signing up to be an exhibitor for our first-ever STEM event, Fall into STEM at Percy Julian Middle School on November 16th. We are thrilled to have you joining us. Attached to this email you will find a FAQ sheet, a floor plan, and a parking map. Take a look at everything and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

We have two options for setting up. You can set up on Friday the 15th from 5-7, or on Saturday morning beginning at 8:00 until 9:30/45, so we're ready to open the doors at 10:00. If you could let me know when you're interested in setting up, that would be great. We are mostly trying to get a count of how many folks will be coming on Friday.

As you will see in the FAQ, we will be providing light breakfast and lunch for all volunteers and exhibitors on the day of the event. More information abou that will be coming soon.
