Life, Work, Relationship, and Cultural Coach. https://www.bettercoachingint.com/ My road was tough. I never truly figured things out until I was 28.
A first generation Asian-American who’s life purpose was to find internal happiness without the pressure and societal norms that come from an immigrant family. I was never the best student, never the best athlete, not even the best person at times. I lost my mother while I was trying to make ends meet as a poor college student. I had no direction during and even after college, struggling to find m
y way in this rat race. Finally standing up for myself and playing to my own strengths. Building relationships, connecting with people on a deeper level, and a natural affinity for business all lead me down the path of Operations. With a little luck, I grinded my way from an office manager to a Director of Operations in less than five years. It’s through that process that I discovered my love of helping those around me succeed. Nothing gives me greater joy than to help people reach their potential. Its funny how my life started changing for the better once I discovered what makes me happy. As soon as I had the confidence to commit to change, things started going my way all on its own. I discovered deep convictions that made my life simple and straight forward. I naturally surrounded myself with people who challenged and helped bring the best out of me. I aligned myself with companies that followed my core values and built relationships with coworkers of varying experiences and aspirations. I met the love of my life when I least expected it and now have two beautiful children who challenge me in their own ways. The point is, when you have the courage to make a change, good things follow.
