Constant clutter can feel like a low-grade stressor, weighing you down even when you're not actively looking for something. But when everything has a place, that invisible pressure lifts. Breathe easier, relax deeper, and enjoy the peace that comes from a truly organized home.

Raise your hand if you’ve purchased storage solutions before decluttering only to end up not needing that pretty bin 🙋🏽♀️. That’s okay! Learning from past purchases is part of the KonMari process.

Decluttering doesn't mean getting rid of everything. It means keeping only the things that bring you joy and using them to the fullest.
Don't wait for a special occasion to enjoy the things you love! Life is a special occasion, every day. So use your good dishes, wear your favorite clothes (often!), and spend time with the people you love.
Let go of the things that don't matter and focus on what does.

Public speaking doesn't come naturally to me, but I’ve found that when you discover your passion it gets easier! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for organizing and the KonMari method with so many people. It's been so rewarding to see how it has helped people declutter their homes and lives. Do you have any questions about the KonMari method? Let me know in the comments!

Marie Kondo's rule #1 is “Commit to tidying up.” But what if we apply this rule to other areas of our lives? What if we committed to a project that we've been wanting to start but haven't had the courage to do?
What if we committed to writing a book, starting a business, or learning a new skill? What if we committed to taking care of our health, our relationships, or our finances?
Starting ANY project can be daunting, but it's important to remember that it's okay to start small.
For example, if you want to organize your entire home, it might be overwhelming to try to do it all at once. Instead, try focusing on smaller categories (ie. clothes, books, papers, misc., sentimental). Once you've organized one category, you can move on to the next.
Taking small steps will help you stay motivated and on track. It will also help you avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Here are some tips for taking small steps when starting a project:
-Break the project down into smaller tasks. This will make it seem less daunting.
-Set realistic deadlines for yourself. Don't try to do too much too soon!
-Reward yourself for your progress. This will help you stay motivated.
Remember, it's better to start small and finish a project than to start big and never finish it.
