Fulton Chamber Players Addison C. Teng and Amy Hess will join members of The Rangbrook Ensemble and University of Nebraska at Omaha UNO School of Music faculty for UNO's annual “Spring Strings at Glacier Creek Preserve” concert. Featuring a performance of Brahms’ String Quintet No. 2 in G major Op. 111, this event will take place on Saturday, June 6 at 7 pm, with refreshments offered starting at 6:30 pm.

Fulton Chamber Players and Fulton Conservatory of Music students return to the Chicago Botanic Garden for a Morning Music performance on Thursday, June 11 at 10 am. This event is free for garden members and free with admission for nonmembers. Come one, come all for a delightful concert among the serene garden landscape! 🎻🌷☀️

Congratulations to Addison C. Teng's student Shaelyn for making her Carnegie Hall debut on May 23! Shaelyn performed for the American Protégé Winners Recital after being selected as a First Place Winner in the 2026 American Protégé International Concerto Competition. In her age division, she has also achieved first prize in the 2024 New York International Young Musician Competition, the 2025 Charleston International New Year's Music Competition, and the 2025 Young Soloist International Music Competition. Shaelyn studies violin with Addison Teng through FCon and has participated in FIR tours since 2021 and many summers of FSMA. She is currently working on recordings of all 24 Paganini caprices, to be released this December.

After working with local chamber ensembles as part of their Philippines residency earlier this month, FCP Addison C. Teng and Amy Hess shared the Manila Symphony Orchestra Recital Hall stage with members of the Manila Symphony Junior Orchestra on May 7 for “An Evening of Chamber Music.” One reviewer said of Teng and Hess’ performance: “every entrance, every attack of a phrase felt perfectly matched, as if the two were thinking with one musical mind.” See the link below for the full review.

From June 1-5, Addison C. Teng and Amy Hess will lead chamber music workshops at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) School of Music in collaboration with Omaha Area Youth Orchestras (OAYO) for the UNO + OAYO Chamber Music Institute 2026. This 5-day intensive will culminate with Teng and Hess performing with the students on Friday, June 5, then with the Rangbrook Ensemble on Saturday, June 6. The latter event, “Spring Strings at Glacier Creek Preserve,” will take place at 7 pm. See the event link below for details!
