We love learning through hands-on experiences! Our Twos enjoyed practicing their colors by matching colored pom-poms—carefully sorting and placing each pom-pom into the correct colored jar. Through these simple, playful movements, they built color awareness, focus, and strong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Our preschool has been hustling and bustling with hands-on learning! For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been fully immersed in everything about birds - 🦅🦢🐦🦉 🦜 - from learning about different types of birds to discovering the many ways they build their homes.
We explored:
* different bird species
* the variety of nests birds make
* what birds eat
* and lots of fascinating bird facts along the way!
Did you know some birds build nests in trees, others use unique materials like cactus, some dig holes in the mud, and even some create nest spots right in rocky cliff divots? 🪺
We also took our learning to the art table by studying artist Peter Cromer, who is known for his colorful paper collages of birds and other animals. We looked closely at his artwork, identified the birds we saw, and talked about what stood out. We even learned about paper collaging as a medium—and how the layers help the picture feel bright, detailed, and “alive.”

Although chilly, we had a blast at the cubs game with the best team (Tiny Tots Incorporated team that is 😀) ⚾️!

We love creativity!

Our preschoolers had an amazing time strengthening their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through a fun hands-on activity.

Using cut-up pool noodles, wooden hammers, and golf tees, the children practiced control, focus, and teamwork as they carefully hammered the tees into the noodles.

Needless to say—everyone had a blast! 🎉

Yom HaAtzmaut Sameach!

Through hands-on creative learning experiences, our little learners explored Israel and celebrated the holiday traditions with joy and excitement.

We had an absolute blast celebrating together 💙🇮🇱🤍

Such a fun, creative day in our Twos classroom! 🎉 We practiced key skills through play using pool noodles and rubber bands—great for building fine motor strength (stretching and placing), color matching (pairing the right bands), and concentration.

Watching them experiment, problem-solve, and get excited about learning is the best part! 💙

Our Tiny Tots have been learning through hands-on experiences and joyful exploration as we discovered Passover together. From engaging activities that brought the story to life to activities designed to spark curiosity, every moment helped them build understanding in a way that felt meaningful and fun. 🌿✨
