Happy New Year! 🎉 We’re stepping into 2025 with so much excitement and preparation for the amazing year ahead.

In just 5 weeks, I’ll be welcoming baby Joi Morris into the world! 🍼💕 But once the little one arrives, it’s go time for Sunflower Braid Academy!

These past few months has been the most rewarding. I signed up for a Program that would not only help me structure my business but give me a community of other entrepreneurs who inspire me to grow and build my business to another level. Sunflower Jr Braid Academy (ages 9-15)

While children in this age group cannot be licensed, they will graduate with a Certificate of Completion and a Sanitary Tools Certificate, equipping them with foundational skills and confidence in hair care and braiding.

Here’s a weekly breakdown of our 4-week program:

🌟 Week 1: Sanitation and tool preparation – learn proper hygiene and tool maintenance.
🌟 Week 2: Braiding basics – practice parting, sectioning, and simple braids.
🌟 Week 3: Advanced techniques – master knotless braids and creative cornrows.
🌟 Week 4: Braiding showcase – apply their skills, complete a final project, and celebrate graduation!

🗓 Classes run Wednesday-Friday for 2.5 hours after school.

This 4-week after-school program is designed for kids and teens who are eager to learn the art of braiding and explore their creative potential. Classes will take place from Wednesday to Friday, for 2.5 hours each day.

✨ How to part and section hair
