Trying some French contrast training and I am absolutely gassed. But this is the hard work it takes to get athleticism back after injury. If you’re scared to go too far, you’ll won’t get far enough.

Do your knees hurt when you squat? It’s probably because your knees aren’t tracking towards your toes. Follow this simple tutorial to get your knees tracking towards your toes for a pain free squat!
Do you experience back pain when you squat?
Squats can help make your back and knees stronger. But squatting with bad form can make things worse. Here are some things to consider if you experience back pain when you squat.
Maxing out is hard and you shouldn’t do it often. When you do, you shouldn’t jump straight off the couch to a max lift. You need to warm up.
Warmups should include:
1. Mobility work - for muscles that move weight
2. Stability/balance work - for muscles that hold weight.
3: Potentiation - to slowly build capacity in all muscles through the proper form.
How you warm up to your max may look different than how I warm up, but we should follow the same principles!
Make sure to keep moving as you age. Stay strong, and be safe!
