[ I'm ringing the dinner bell ]
Soup & Bread March 1 happens tomorrow night. Feast on soup and pay what you want (all the money goes to support a great cause). I'm serving up a stew that will knock your socks off. But if you prefer, there will be a handful of other soups to try. Eat them all! Plus wonderful Publican Quality Bread. And nice people to boot!

Food.
The system determines nearly everything, from who lives and who dies to our wellbeing. It's been that way since the beginning.

There'e a movement rising to create a system that works. Support it. Support the grassroots efforts of small, local farmers who grow food for people. In the process, they create jobs, health and community.

“Wear green on St. Patrick’s Day or get pinched.” That pretty much sums up the Irish-American “curriculum” that I learned when I was in school. Yes, I recall a nod to the so-called Potato Famine, but it was mentioned only in passing.
