Do you keep a journal? If you donât, you might want to think about starting one. Especially when you consider how much more confident youâll be about your decisions and actions if you do.
How would writing things down about your day help you form an unwavering belief in yourself?
A journal is an amazing thing. When you document the best parts of your day, you're putting a record in writing which you can go back and read over again. This "journal" is especially helpful during those bad moments when self-doubt creeps in.
Think about it: a journal contains irrefutable proof of your actions. Every right decision, every action which made you proud, is there on paper, a perfect reminder of all the times in the past when things went right. These are words that you can use to send self-doubt flying. After all, if you've made good decisions before, it's perfectly logical you will again.
Who knew something so simple as a journal could become the seeds for unwavering self-belief!

Once a wise man held a seminar to teach people how to get rid of sorrows in their life. Many people gathered to hear the wise manâs words. The man entered the room and told a hilarious joke to the crowd. The crowd roared in laughter.
After a couple of minutes, he told them the same joke, and only a few of them smiled.
When he told the same joke for the third time, no one laughed anymore.
The wise man smiled and said,â You canât laugh at the same joke over and over. So why do you cry over the same problem over and over?â
Worry is natural and there is nothing more unnatural than that but the real healing lies not in escaping but in facing the pain. Feel your pain to heal yourself and once you acknowledge them, it will pass smoothly leaving a new and stronger version of YOU behind.

We don't get in the habit of celebrating when we accomplish our goals. More often than not, we're so busy when it happens that we simply move on to the next item on our list without more than the most minimal acknowledgment.
Have you ever considered how damaging this might be to your self-worth?
It's hard to feel like you're making the right decisions or acting out the best options when you don't recognize these accomplishments when they happen. You're undermining your belief in yourself by belittling these actions to the point where you start wondering if they matter at all or if you're even doing things right in the first place.
If you want to gain unwavering belief in your decisions and actions, you need to start with celebrating when you know youâve done the right thing. Let yourself know you did good, and your trust in yourself will soar. With this trust comes the inevitable self-belief and the assurance you know what youâre doing.
Isnât this something worth celebrating?

Did you know that an eagle can foresee when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?
Instead of hiding, the eagle will fly to some high point and wait for the winds to come.
When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind can pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle soars above it.
The eagle does not escape or hide from the storm; instead, it uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the stormy winds which others dread.
When the storm of life or challenges hits us, we can rise above them and soar like the eagle that rides the stormâs winds.
The storm in our lives can help us to be successful! Reach out to me if you want to know more about success and growth.

Often, the answer is rather simple and very easily overlooked: We tend to lack self-belief when we lack information.
When you don't understand the problem clearly or know all the options, it can be very difficult to figure out what to do. This is also true if you haven't considered the outcome of what each possible action might create.
The nice thing is just how easy this matter is to fix. Itâs all about education and taking the time to learn the details. Rather than jumping into a quick answer or acting impulsively, taking the time to step back makes all the difference. Consider the problem from every angle and figure out the best possible solution from the information you have.
From there, it's simply a matter of letting go and enjoying the confidence of knowing your decisions and actions are sound. What a simple way to create unwavering self-belief in your next steps!

A young man in his twenties was seeing out from the trainâs window and shoutedâŚ
âFather, look at the trees! They are going behind!â
The young manâs father smiled at the man, and a young couple sitting nearby looked at the young manâs childish comment with pity.
Suddenly, the young man exclaimed again.
âFather, look at the clouds! They are all running with us!â
The couple couldnât resist and said to the old man.
âWhy donât you take your son to a good doctor?â
The older man smiled and said,
âWe did, and we are just coming from the hospital. My son was blind from birth, and he just got his vision today.â

We don't always see ourselves clearly when we're having trouble with our mental health, either. Even small things like stress or lack of sleep can trigger depression or anxiety, both of which will drive down self-belief. This doesn't even consider more serious mental health issues such as being bipolar, suffering from a borderline personality disorder, or other such illnesses. The problem here is we've been told for years our mental health is part of what gives us value, and we even joke about people who are 'crazy' or exhibit other such issues as though they are something to be made fun of. It's no wonder people suffering from any of these issues start to see themselves as 'less than those around them.
The problem with all of these factors is just how little truth can be found in any of them. People who are unique, eccentric, depressed, anxious, neurotypical, neurodivergent, or anything else can experience confidence and unwavering self-belief. These old messages need to take a hike, especially when you see what happens when you spend too much time believing them. nesses. Once a young man asked the wise man, Socrates, the secret to success. Socrates patiently listened to the manâs question and told him to meet him near the river the following day for the answer. So the next day, Socrates asked the young man to walk with him toward the river. As they went into the river, the water got up to their neck. But to the young manâs surprise, Socrates ducked him into the water.
The young man struggled to get out of the water, but Socrates was strong and kept him there until the boy started turning blue. Finally, Socrates pulled the manâs head out of the water. The young man gasped and took a deep breath of air. Socrates asked, âWhat did you want the most when your head was in the water?â The young man replied, âAir.â Socrates said, âThat is the secret to success. When you want success as badly as you wanted the air while you were in the water, then you will get it. There is no other secret.â
