Prairie State College is proud to partner with Cook County’s Digital Equity Action Plan—a roadmap to help ensure every resident can fully participate in today’s digital world.
The plan focuses on four cornerstones of digital equity:
✅ Accessibility — affordable high-quality internet, devices, and support
✅ Confidence — skills and comfort using the internet for everyday needs
✅ Safety — feeling secure online and knowing how to protect yourself
✅ Infrastructure — the physical systems (cables, towers, data centers) that make strong service possible
Cook County is using this plan to share commitments and chart a path forward—but we can’t do it alone.
