We are so excited to be showcasing Xicantl's artwork this year during Hispanic Heritage Month at the Christopher Art Gallery at Prairie State College. This is a great opportunity for students, residents and anyone interested in amazing Alebrije artwork. Xicantl is also a local artist! Her work will be on display at the gallery through October 15. The gallery is open M-Th 9-5 pm and is free to attend.

Your Art, Music, Music Production, Communication, Spanish, Photography, and Communication faculty are prepared to talk with you about this.

We’re aware of President Trump’s posting (and subsequent removal) of a racist video on his Truth Social platform attacking the Obamas.

We’re here in class and office hours to talk about this and anything else in our corner of the world that’s on your mind.

In the meantime, we choose joy.
