HRTM Student interns Kinza Andrew and Erin Sowersby assisted Chef Neugebauer

It was a very busy day in The Cheyney Grille as students and other Cheyney volunteers prepared a traditional West African menu to serve at The Safe Harbor shelter in West Chester.

Our helpers included Dr. Steven Hughes, our Tilipia Aquaculture specialist, Miss Nancy Vargese ,event coordinator and Iced Tea brewmaster Officer Mike our Chaffeur, and our President Mr. Walton and his very supportive wife Mrs. Walton.

We hope to do this again soon and encourage others to volunteer from the Cheyney community.
