📚 Our preschoolers enjoyed a wonderful story time today! While reading together, they practiced active listening and strengthened their comprehension skills. We talked about the characters, what was happening in the story, and what might happen next. The kids worked in small groups and had a blast moving along the characters from page to page. Lessons like these help children understand how stories develop while building language, imagination, and early literacy skills. 📚

Little hands, big skills! 🍎🥕

Today our young learners practiced safely cutting fruits and veggies; we’re building our fine motor skills, independence, and healthy food awareness all at once. Hands-on learning is always the most fun (and delicious!).

Our Pre-K students are having so much fun creating butterfly art this morning! 🦋

Working in small groups allows for more focused instruction, meaningful peer collaboration, and valuable one-on-one support with their teacher. We love watching their creativity and confidence grow!

Today we are working with paper, pasta, different glues & paints.

✨ Big Milestone, Even Bigger Pride ✨

We are so excited to share that three members of our leadership team have officially completed the Infant & Toddler Credential course!

This achievement reflects our deep commitment to providing the highest quality care during the most important early years of development. Throughout the course, we focused on meaningful practices such as creating safe and supportive infant sleep environments, building strong connections through serve-and-return interactions and intentional circle time, and designing a true “yes” environment that encourages exploration, independence, and confidence.

I am incredibly proud of our Assistant Director and Supervisor; their dedication, thoughtfulness, and passion for early childhood education truly shined throughout this course. Our children and families benefit every day from the care and intention they bring into our classrooms.

We are so grateful to have such an amazing team continuing to learn, grow, and advocate for our littlest learners. 💛

🌟 Why we love sensory bins! 🌟

At first glance, sensory bins may just look like scooping, pouring, and digging—but there’s so much learning happening in that little tub of fun!

✨ Cognitive skills: Kids explore early math and science as they measure, compare, and discover cause-and-effect.
✨ Fine motor skills: Pinching, scooping, and pouring strengthen the muscles needed for writing and self-help skills.
✨ Language growth: New words flow as children describe textures, actions, and their imaginative play.
✨ Social & emotional growth: Sharing a sensory bin encourages cooperation, turn-taking, and even provides a calming outlet.
✨ Creativity & imagination: Whether they’re cooking up “soup” or digging for “treasure,” sensory play sparks endless ideas.

Sensory bins aren’t just fun—they’re a hands-on way for children to learn, grow, and thrive. 💛
