I have 10+ years experience working with kiddos. I Have a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wyoming in Elementary Education with my area of study being Early Childhood Education. I have taught preschool at several centers around the state of Wyoming. I want to have a fun learning environment for children from 3-5 years of age. I will be focusing on the basic skills that kiddos need to know before entering kindergarten. I have several letters of reference for those who would like to learn more about me and my center. The kids have worked hard the last couple of weeks as we made a piƱata to break on our last day of summer. They added the paper to the balloon, voted on the design of the piƱata (tough race- we had to do a tie breaker vote). Today we added the decorations. They were very particular that the pinata had to be ā€œshaggyā€ because that is how all the store piƱatas are. I think it turned out great. Now the countdown is on for the time to break it!

We have had some fun projects this week. We out dye in spray bottles and dyed our pillow cases (this method is a little more hands on than typical tie dye- since they donā€™t have to try to wrap the rubber bands) then today we made simple fruit and cream cheese danishes.

We got a good start on sewing pillows for movie days. Kids each brought two bandanas. We sewed them together. Kids made them a little extra custom by picking some patches to add to them then they got to stuff them to what they felt was comfortable. They will use them if they want to be cozy reading a book and also when we watch a movie.
