As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we proudly honor the generations of local leaders, community members and residents who have helped build strong communities across Wyoming and our nation. Wishing you a safe, joyful and memorable Independence Day as we commemorate 250 years of freedom!

Happy Independence Day from the Wyoming Association of Municipalities! We wish Wyoming’s cities, towns, elected officials, staff and residents a safe and memorable Fourth of July celebration.

The Wyoming Air National Guard has released its official statewide flyover schedule for America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026. Following a kickoff at the State Capitol, two C-130 aircraft will travel eastern and western routes, honoring communities across Wyoming. Times are approximate and subject to change, so make sure you are outside several minutes before and after the scheduled time.
