Working hard to lose weight and feel better. Want to be happier and healthier! My name is Amy. This time I'm going to meet my goals!

I'm a 29 year old wife and mother of two who is
fed up with being overweight! This page is for me to keep track
of and share my weight loss goals and accomplishments. I have
been overweight my entire adult life and I'm ready for a change.

Tried a new recipe tonight. Italian sausage and peppers. It was really good, but next time I will put it over cauliflower rice.

Bratwurst, broccoli, and cheddar cheese. Great lunch for a snow day!

I've been having joint pain and just generally feeling off lately. Day 3 back on keto and I already feel the difference! My joints don't hurt anymore and my brain is not fuzzy like it was. I know keto makes me feel better...I just need to stick with it!

Week two back to going to the gym before work. Took a break due to illness and holidays. Now itโ€™s time to focus on myself. I gained back most of the 30lbs I had lost but Iโ€™m not going to get discouraged! I know I can do it if I focus on my food and workouts.

Having a hard time getting back on track. I lost 30lbs at the beginning of the year and have gained 20 lbs back in the last 3 months. ๐Ÿ˜ข

I've been doing good and staying on track. Lost 14lbs so far! Doing low carb and drinking lots of water is amazing! I haven't had sugar cravings and I am starting to feel SO much better than I have in a long time. I'm excited to see the results every week. Weigh-in is on Friday. Tomorrow's meals are all planned out except for dinner and hoping I can take the kids for a walk tomorrow afternoon. We'll see if the weather holds out!

Late night running errands and doing other things so dinner was changed to eating out...I did good though. Chopped salad with TONS of veggies and oven roasted chicken breast from Subway. I can stay on track if I remind myself of my goals and keep working at it. The salad is AMAZING BTW!

I know I am constantly "starting over" and struggling to find a lifestyle that will help me be healthy. I have been losing and gaining back the same 30-40lbs for several years now and I know it is my own fault. I let little things get in the way of my goals and my success. I'm trying to start fresh and get myself back on track once again, but this time I'm hoping, praying, and planning so that this can be my last new start. My goals are simple, eat healthy, drink more water, and exercise more in an effort to lose the extra weight (a lot of extra unfortunately) and be a healthier and happier person. I need to start now, before Christmas so that I can prove to myself and others that I can do this no matter what the season or what is going on in my life. My life literally depends on it. I am at risk for so many health problems just because of my weight. This won't be easy, but it will be worth it in the end.

I recently fell off the wagon and have gained back almost all the weight I lost at the beginning of the year. This year has been stressful and honestly I have been lazy and making excuses because of it. NO MORE! Today I sat down and made a meal plan for the week, went out and bought healthy food, and talked to my husband about my health goals. I am determined to lose the weight and be healthy one day. It will take a lot of time and energy to get started, but I can do it. I've done it before, but I need to stick to it. Tonight's dinner: Salmon and Veggies with one serving of pasta. Goals for tomorrow: follow my food plan and do at least 30minutes of exercise. Here's to getting healthy!!!
