We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Orientation and Mobility Specialist to join our team. position is in Phoenix, Arizona. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality services and empowering individuals with visual impairments to achieve greater independence and confidence.

Responsibilities include:
• Conducting assessments and evaluations
• Providing individualized O&M instruction in a variety of settings
• Collaborating with families, schools, and professionals
• Preparing progress reports, documentation, and IEP/504 input

Qualifications:
• Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Camp Abilities is an overnight educational sports camp for children and young adults ages 7 and older who are blind, deafblind, or have multiple disabilities including visual impairment. (photo of athletes and coaches in a line on horseback)

**Position Available: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)**

**Location:** Vail District, Tucson, AZ

**Contract Type:** Part-Time contractor

**Start date: Immediately

**Overview:**

TruVision Instructional Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a contract opportunity. The role involves working with a student in the Vail District to ensure their educational needs are met effectively.

- Two hours of service per month, meeting every other week.

-Compensation. $45-60 per hour

-In person

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide direct instructional support to a visually impaired student.

- Collaborate with the student’s teacher to facilitate access to the curriculum.

- Assess and address the student’s specific academic needs in their learning environment.



**Qualifications:**

- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).

-Working knowledge of low vision skills

-Must possess liability insurance

- Demonstrated experience working with visually impaired students.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators/students and families

- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the student and educational setting.

I am thrilled to announce the launch of my new business, TruVision Instructional Services, LLC. Our company is dedicated to providing essential services for children with disabilities, offering a holistic approach that ensures each child and their family feel heard, loved, and supported.

As some of you may know, and for those who don’t, my son Caleb has special needs. Finding the right support for him has been a challenging journey. This personal experience has inspired me to establish a business dedicated to providing comprehensive support for families facing similar challenges.

TruVision Instructional Services, LLC offers a range of services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, orientation and mobility specialists, Teachers of the visually impaired, school psychologists , and tutoring. All services are offered in three different formats.
• Mobile - We go to the client
• Remote - Services are provided online
• Hybrid - A mix of mobile and remote

Currently, we have therapists serving the Tucson, Vail, Corona de Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita, Rio Rico, and Nogales areas of Arizona. We anticipate our expansion into other cities and states very soon.
