For six years, members have collaborated to create computer science lessons for Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone students that integrate and showcase their Indigenous identities and provide meaningful learning about their languages. Superintendent Megan Degenfelder presented the opening remarks during the SRP Academy. This training aimed to strengthen school safety by providing targeted connections, training, and resources for all School Resource Personnel and school administrators.

The Academy focused on student-centered practices, including youth resiliency, trauma-informed school safety, and the promotion of integrity within the school-law enforcement partnership.

2026 New SPED Teacher Bootcamp 06/10/2026

New Teachers with three years or less experience or those currently on an exception authorization should consider attending the 's New SPED Teacher Boot Camp in Cheyenne from July 28-29. The PD will deepen your understanding of IDEA, offer hands-on opportunities to develop appropriate IEP goals and services, and provide key tools, routines, and practices to help new teachers start strong!

$250 scholarships are available to help cover the cost of registration for eligible applicants.
