🌻 First Day of Summer at Montessori!☀️

We kicked off the first day of summer with smiles, creativity, and a bit of extra sunshine! Some of our classrooms brightened up their windows with fun summer-themed artwork and messages, bringing the excitement of the season to life throughout our school. 💖

In a Montessori setting, summer is all about exploration, discovery, independence, and joyful learning. We’re eagerly anticipating all the adventures, hands-on activities, and meaningful experiences this season will bring.

☀️ Happy last day of school from MSC!! ☀️

Today we had such a blast celebrating our last day of school! One of our toddler classes decided to paint rocks and the kiddos had so much fun. They were able to go outside and choose their own rock to paint. 🎨 This experience helped them to embrace their creativity and create something of their own which we strive to do every day at our Montessori school! ☺️💖

In addition, two of our primary classes joined together and had a picnic! They really enjoyed sharing conversations with one another and eating lunch with their siblings or friends from a different class.

✨The kiddos were so excited to enjoy the nice weather outside and appreciate nature’s beauty!

Lastly another primary class released their ladybugs today! 🐞 They have been watching their ladybugs grow for the past 2 weeks and were so excited to release them into nature. It’s such a joy to see our kiddos get excited about nature and develop a deeper respect for other living things! 💖

Onto setting up our classrooms for summer!

🎓 Congratulations to two of our Montessori School of Cheyenne teachers who graduated high school yesterday! We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments. Watching our staff reach important milestones while making a difference in the lives of children is truly inspiring.

Today we celebrate our Kindergarten graduates and the incredible growth they have shown through their Montessori journey. Through independence, hands-on learning, curiosity, and leadership, they have grown into confident and capable learners.
We are so proud of each child and excited to watch them take their next steps forward.

🌊 Discovering Sea Life Through Montessori Learning 🐠

Our Primary students have been exploring the fascinating world of sea creatures through hands-on learning experiences here at our Montessori school! From learning about different ocean animals and their habitats to creating ocean-inspired art and participating in sensory activities, the children have been fully engaged in discovery and exploration, and we love to see it. 🐙🐋🐚

These experiences encourage curiosity, independence, observation, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. We love watching the children ask questions, make connections, and learn through meaningful, child-led activities that bring the wonders of the ocean into all of our Montessori classrooms. 💙✨

What an amazing week celebrating art at our Montessori school! 🎨✨

Our students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the ArtHaus trailer, where they explored and admired so many incredible pieces of artwork. The children loved walking through the gallery-style experience and learning to appreciate different forms of creativity and expression.

Throughout the week, the fun continued as students worked on coloring their own custom portraits created by ColorBliss. It has been so special watching each child’s creativity, personality, and imagination shine through their artwork. 🖍️❤️

To end our ArtHaus week, we were so excited to host our ArtHaus Parent Night last night! Families came together to celebrate the children’s creativity, explore art, and help paint a collaborative mural together. It was such a special way to bring our school community together and create lasting memories.
