Hello Hawk Families! 🦅💛
As you know, our Walkathon is officially just 2 weeks away! We’re so excited!

🚶‍♀️ Walkathon Schedule
9:00–9:20 AM: Kindergarten
9:20–9:40 AM: 1st Grade
9:40–10:00 AM: 2nd Grade
10:00–10:20 AM: 3rd Grade
10:20–10:40 AM: 4th Grade

📍 Location: The 4th grade playground side, in the open grassy area, weather permitting.
Parents are more than welcome to come watch and cheer on their kiddos during their scheduled time! 📣❤️

👕 Walkathon Shirts:
A huge THANK YOU to Take 5 Oil for generously sponsoring our Walkathon! Because of their support, every student and staff member will receive a Walkathon shirt to wear during the event. Shirts are expected to arrive the week of the Walkathon, and we will get them distributed to teachers as soon as they arrive.

💰 Money Collection:
Any cash or checks your student has collected will be turned in at the Walkathon during their scheduled time.

Checks can be made payable to Anderson Elementary PTO.

All money raised helps our PTO support Anderson throughout the school year, including field trips, family nights, classroom requests, teacher support, and so much more!

We truly appreciate everyone who has participated and helped raise money for our school. Thank you for supporting our Hawks! 🦅💛

HAPPY FRIDAY Hawk families!!! Hopefully everyone survived that first week back! 😴 💪

Your kiddo should be coming home with our PTO flyer that has upcoming events scheduled this year! The first meeting of the year is next Thursday in the Anderson library. Come join us and see what we have planned! In September, we will have our Walkathon fundraiser! You should be receiving the flyer in the next week or so!

Lastly, picture day will be on Friday, September 18th so you can put that reminder in your phone! 📷

Hi everyone! We were asked to post about Girls on the Run. They’re in need of another coach to help out if anyone is interested! 🥰

Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire all girls to build their confidence, kindness and decision making skills. Dynamic lessons instill valuable life skills including the important connection between physical and emotional health.

Don’t forget about open house today from 4pm-5pm!! 🩷 Feel free to bring your school supplies and drop them off in your classroom!

On Monday, our friends at Lawn cheer will have this set up in the front. It’ll be up all day Monday so you can take a picture at drop off or pick up!! 😎🥰

Field day was SO much fun!! ☀️ A little windy but the kids had a blast! Thank you to our wonderful PE teacher for setting this up and thank you to all the parents who came and helped!! 😎💙
