🌟CONGRATULATIONS🌟 to Human Resources very own Janet Edwards! She has been spotlighted as the Employee of the Month of August, presented by Western Vista Credit Union.

Janet is our Human Resources Technician and has been a dedicated LCSD1 employee for 24 years. She is not only an incredible asset to our department, but our district.

We are a little less than 4 weeks away from a new school year, folks! HR is excited to have you all back, but we want you to make the most of what is left of your summer break!

HR is working hard to onboard our new employees as well as meet the needs of our current employees. Should you need anything, you can reach us Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30pm at 307-771-2139.

The Administration Building was surprised with a real treat this morning! The Dandies visited staff to celebrate 🍩National Donut Day🍩 The girls will be out and about in the community today spreading sugary goodness! If you see them, make sure to say hi.

The Dandies proudly serve as goodwill ambassadors. They represent Cheyenne Frontier Days™ at various rodeos, fairs, and community events across the Rocky Mountain Region, covering a total of nine states. Throughout the ten days of Frontier Days, they engage in several key activities, including the Coronation Ball, the Western Art Show and Sale, the Pancake Breakfasts, and the thrilling USAF Thunderbird Aerial Demonstration. Additionally, they participate in all four downtown parades, nine rodeo performances, and eight exciting night shows.

😎☀️ SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION 🏖🍧
We are excited that many of our employees will be getting a much-needed break to spend time with their family and friends as of next week! However, Human Resources will be working hard to onboard our newest employees for the 2025-2026 school year while also assisting our current employees.

With that being said, from June 9th, 2025 to July 25th, 2025 our hours of operation will be changing for the summer! We will be available via phone, e-mail, and in-person at the Administration building Monday -Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm. We will be closed to the public on Fridays and all phone calls and e-mails will be responded to the following business day.

We will then revert back to regular business hours on Monday July 28th, 2025, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
