To our principal, kindergarten teacher, boss, and best friend — Nicole 💛

Nicole is truly one of a kind. She wears more hats than anyone realizes, yet somehow still shows up every single day giving everything she has to our school, students, and staff.

She pours her whole heart into teaching and leading. She believes in her students before they believe in themselves and works tirelessly to make sure every child feels safe, loved, supported, and capable.

What people don’t always see are the early mornings, after-hours work, endless papers, last-minute schedule changes, quick lunches, difficult conversations, and the mental load she carries long after the school day ends. She somehow manages all of it running on coffee and prayers while still making everything look calm, organized, and magical. 😂

She celebrates the little wins that matter most — the first sentence read independently, the shy child raising their hand, the student finally believing, “I can do this.”

Nicole leads with kindness, strength, patience, and a work ethic that inspires everyone around her. Our school is better because of her, our students are better because of her, and we are all so lucky to work beside her, learn from her, and call her our friend.

The school truly would not be the same without her. 💛

Last but not least! Mrs. Roberta is truly 1 in a million. From the very first moment you meet her, you can feel the peace of the Lord shining through her in everything she does. She carries herself with such grace, kindness, and gentleness that simply being around her brings comfort to everyone around her.

Mrs. Roberta is the true embodiment of patience, love, and compassion. Her heart for students is unmatched, and she has a special way of making every child feel seen, valued, and capable. Students are naturally drawn to her warmth and the respect she pours into each interaction. She creates an environment where children feel safe to learn, grow, and believe in themselves.

One of the most incredible things about Mrs. Roberta is her ability to reach every student she encounters. No matter the challenge, she meets students right where they are and helps guide them toward success with encouragement and wisdom. She has a gift for teaching that goes far beyond academics — she teaches confidence, kindness, perseverance, and love.

Mrs. Roberta’s calm spirit and servant’s heart are such a blessing to our school family. She leads with humility, gives endlessly to those around her, and always puts others before herself. Her quiet strength and unwavering faith make a lasting impact on both students and staff each and every day.

Kenzie is the real OG around here! 💛 Ms. Kenzie has been part of our school family since she was just 17 years old, and what a blessing it has been to watch her grow through every season of life.

Aside from a few years spent home loving on her babies, Kenzie has continued to pour her heart into our school and students. From being a teenage helper, to earning her CDA and stepping into teaching preschool, she has always shown dedication, loyalty, and a willingness to do whatever is needed.

Now as our dedicated substitute, Kenzie is truly one of the biggest blessings to our team. No matter the classroom, age group, or last-minute need, Kenzie is always there. She never hesitates to answer the phone call at a moment’s notice and jumps in ready to help wherever she is needed. She is dependable in every sense of the word, and there is so much comfort in knowing she can walk into any classroom and get the job done with confidence and care.

Kenzie is bold, witty, and keeps the students on their toes at all times! 😂 She brings comedic relief to every classroom she steps into and has a way of making both staff and students smile even on the busiest days. Her personality lights up the building, and her flexibility and willingness to help never go unnoticed.

Kenzie is the kind of person every school hopes to have — loyal, hardworking, dependable, and always ready to serve with a smile. Miss Bailey may be the “baby” of the HTCA family, but you would never know it by the confidence, leadership, and heart she brings into her classroom every single day! 💛

Bailey stepped into a classroom full of spice, s***k, and BIG personalities and somehow turned all that energy into growth, learning, and determination. She has a way of seeing the potential in every student and reminding them daily that they are capable of amazing things.

“You can do hard things” is more than just a saying in Ms. Bailey’s classroom — it is a mindset she pours into each child every single day. She is constantly cheering on her students, encouraging them through challenges, celebrating their victories, and helping them believe in themselves even when things feel difficult. 📚✨

Bailey has such a special balance of kindness, patience, structure, and fun. She keeps her students engaged, laughing, learning, and growing all at the same time. Whether it’s planning exciting activities, creating meaningful moments, or simply making each child feel seen and loved, Bailey gives her whole heart to her classroom.

One of the most beautiful things about Bailey is her willingness to always learn, grow, and become even better for her students. She takes feedback with grace, works hard behind the scenes, and constantly strives to make school a place her students are excited to come to every day.

Many students say Ms. A is the teacher who challenges them the most… but that’s because she sees their potential and encourages them to be the very best they can be! 💛 Her high expectations come from a place of deep care, and because of that, her 2nd graders thrive.

Ms. A is an incredible teacher who is constantly learning, growing, and striving to better herself every single day. Her dedication to her students and her passion for teaching shine through in everything she does. Watching her step into teaching and absolutely flourish has been amazing!

Kami has been such a wonderful addition to our team! Joining us right after Christmas is no small feat, but Kami jumped in with both feet and has truly put in the work to make a difference.

From day one, she has adjusted beautifully—embracing our routines, building relationships, and bringing such a positive, uplifting presence into our school. Kami is always thinking of creative and thoughtful ways to brighten her students’ days, making each moment feel a little more special and a lot more fun.

One of the things we appreciate most about Kami is her willingness to serve wherever she’s needed. Whether it’s stepping into art, leading PE, or filling in at a moment’s notice, Mrs. Kami does it all with a joyful heart and a can-do attitude. Her flexibility and dedication do not go unnoticed—they are a true gift to our staff and students.

Kami brings energy, kindness, and a genuine love for the kids into everything she does. She is building meaningful connections and creating an environment where students feel encouraged, engaged, and excited to learn.

Mrs. McGill is truly one of a kind. She walks through our doors each day as a burst of rainbows, joy, and unwavering positivity. While many people can put on a smile to get through the day, Mrs. McGill carries a genuine, deep-rooted joy that can only come from the Lord—and it shines through in everything she does.

Her classroom is more than a place of learning—it’s a place of warmth, laughter, and belonging. Mrs. McGill creates an environment where students feel safe, known, and deeply loved. There is a steady consistency in her presence that her students rely on; they know exactly what to expect because she shows up the same way every single day—with patience, kindness, and excellence.

Mrs. McGill is the definition of prepared. She is organized, intentional, and always thinking ahead—often weeks in advance—to ensure her students have the best possible experience. But beyond the structure, she brings so much life into her classroom. Whether it’s meaningful “campfire conversations” that build connection or something as fun and silly as a fruit roll-up eating contest, she knows how to make learning memorable and joyful.

10 years. Let that sink in.

For a decade, Ashley has been part of the heartbeat of this place—steady, faithful, and full of quiet impact. Ten years of showing up, stepping in, and doing whatever is needed… whether that’s shoveling snow before the day begins, scrubbing toilets without a second thought, or bravely taking the mic solo at a preschool Christmas concert.

That’s who Ashley is.

She doesn’t just teach—she builds. She builds strong students who know what’s expected of them and rise to meet it. She sets a standard of excellence and then walks right beside her students as they reach for it. There’s no coasting in Ashley’s classroom—only growth, effort, and pride in doing your best.

But what makes her truly special is how she balances that strength with kindness. Her classroom runs with intention and organization, yet always has room for grace. She is flexible when things don’t go as planned, steady when things feel chaotic, and consistently the calm in the middle of it all.
