Congratulations to the first cohort of our Metallica Scholars Trades Program! 🤩
Over the last year, approximately 30 seniors had the opportunity for hands-on learning and exposure to various trades facilitated by Advanced Comfort Solutions, Inc.
Thank you to all of our industry partners for investing in the next generation of skilled trades workers, and a special thank you goes to Meta for providing each student with a new pair of work boots to help prepare them for their future!

This year, 52 LCSD1 seniors were awarded the Wyoming Seal of Biliteracy award. These students were recognized during a Board of Trustees meeting followed by a celebratory dinner! Congratulations!

At our most recent board meeting, we recognized our last 2025-26 Student of the Week, East High's 4A softball State Champions and track State Champions and Alta Vista Elementary for its recognition as a 2026 NAESP National Gold Star School.

LCSD1's Summer Food Service Program will be available on the following dates:

June 15–July 16
Breakfast: 8:15–8:45 a.m.
LCCC
Monday–Friday
June 8–Aug. 7
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Meals will not be available on July 3 and 22.
The meals, which are free for anyone 18 years old and under, will be provided at South High School and Laramie County Community College, parking lot E. Meals must be eaten on-site. Grab-and-go meals will not be provided.
