❤️🤍💙 Just Another Fun Day in 4th Grade!

There was a little extra excitement in 4th grade at CCA today! 🔨🪨

A big thank you to Sam Long, who brought in some rocks for the class to break open and investigate as we searched for signs of fossils! The students gathered around, asked questions, made observations, and couldn’t wait to see what might be hiding inside. Nothing beats getting to put what we’re learning into our own hands!

And apparently there was another important lesson happening today…

Mr. B and Mrs. Hamilton learned that great teaching partners also coordinate their wardrobes. 😂💙👔

Neither one planned it, but Blue Striped Shirt Day was officially born. We may have taken the whole teaching team thing a little too seriously!

Between rocks, fossils, lots of curious Patriots, and a little accidental teacher twinning, 4th grade was a pretty fun place to be today!

🏐🇺🇸 LADY PATRIOTS WIN! 🇺🇸🏐

What a battle tonight! Our Lady Patriots showed tremendous teamwork, determination, and heart throughout three hard-fought sets:

🔴 Set 1: 25–14
⚪ Set 2: 25–20
🔵 Set 3: 11–15

The girls earned the match victory, 2–1! We are incredibly proud of the way they supported one another, stayed composed, and represented Cheyenne Classical Academy.

🇺🇸 A HUGE CCA THANK YOU TO AUDREY BURGESS! 🇺🇸

Some of the most important work at a school happens behind the scenes, and today we want to recognize Audrey Burgess for going above and beyond for Cheyenne Classical Academy!

Audrey took on the huge task of helping organize our Teacher Work Area (TWA) — and when we say huge, the pictures tell the story! 📦😂 She has spent countless hours unpacking, sorting, organizing, and finding a home for all the materials our teachers use every day.
The difference she has made is incredible. A well-organized TWA means our teachers can spend less time searching for supplies and more time doing what matters most — teaching and caring for our Patriots.

Audrey, your hard work, initiative, and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed have not gone unnoticed. You have done an exceptional job, and we are incredibly thankful for you!

A huge thank-you to Roadhouse for showing such wonderful support to Cheyenne Classical Academy! ❤️

Our staff enjoyed the delicious rolls and thoughtful gifts, including certificates and pens. Our students were also excited to receive pencils and bookmarks that included a free meal!

🐂⭐ CHEER ON JACE! ⭐🐂

Cheyenne Classical Academy is incredibly proud of fourth-grade student Jace Sinner, who is competing at the 2026 International Miniature Bullriders Association World Finals in Ogden, Utah!

From September 9–12, Jace will compete for a world title alongside talented young riders from as far away as Australia and New Zealand. What an amazing accomplishment!

Jace, your courage, determination, and hard work make your entire CCA family proud. Ride hard, dream big, and know that the Patriots are cheering for you every step of the way! 🇺🇸🐎

🎨🚀 Upcoming Opportunities at the Cheyenne Children’s Museum!

CCA families, the Cheyenne Children’s Museum has several exciting hands-on opportunities coming up for students who love art, design, technology, and space!
🎨 Plaster Landscape Art Workshop — Ages 8+
Students can design and create their own plaster landscape during a fun weekend art workshop.
📅 Saturday, September 12
⏰ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
💲 $35 per participant
Space is limited, so families interested in participating are encouraged to reserve a spot soon.

💻 Elevation Design Lab — Ages 11–18
Young designers can learn real-world creative skills using the same kinds of tools and workflows used by professionals. Students will work with digital illustration, typography, apparel design, print, and more.
📅 Begins September 15
🗓 Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 4:30–6:30 PM
💲 $75 per student
⭐ Museum members receive 10% off
Students will have the opportunity to create pieces for their own portfolio, including custom stickers, designer apparel, and professional-quality posters.

🛰️ CubeSat Immersive Training Program — High School
For our older students, the museum is also offering an exciting CubeSat Immersive Training Program beginning September 14.
Students will get hands-on experience with electronics, soldering, satellite systems, ground-station operations, mission control, and real-world space technology. The program is designed to connect learning with Wyoming educational standards while giving students experience with technology used in the aerospace field.
