AIPAC participates in elections like many other American interest groups. Its spending may amplify candidates’ messages, but it cannot buy votes, control Congress or guarantee victory.

Criticism is legitimate. Claims that AIPAC secretly controls politicians, however, apply a troubling double standard.

Meet Yael Man - the Canadian-born Mossad operative who lived undercover in Beirut while gathering intelligence on three senior PLO and Fatah figures.

Posing as an American writer, Man documented their routines, guards, vehicles, and surrounding streets. Her intelligence helped make Israel’s 1973 Operation Spring of Youth possible. She later received the IDF Chief of Staff’s Commendation for another classified mission.

While Israel and Papua New Guinea have had friendly relations since the latter gained independence in 1978, the two nations grew closer in the wake of October 7 when Papua New Guinea continuously sided with Israel during key international debates. PNG Prime Minister James Marape and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu inaugurated PNG’s embassy in Jerusalem in September 2023, and in June 2026, Israel announced that it would open a representative office in PNG.

Today, Levi's jeans are known as an iconic piece of American fashion. But did you know their popularization stems from a Jewish businessman?

Levi Strauss was born to a Bavarian Jewish family and emigrated to New York at 18 years old. He later moved to San Francisco and was approached by Jacob Davis, a tailor who developed a new process of securing seams in jeans. The two shared a patent and the rest is history. Beyond denim, Strauss was known for his philanthropy; he supported San Francisco's Temple Emanu-el and helped to fund the gold medal awarded to the temple’s best Sabbath School student.
