Meet Indigo! For many years, she has been a proud Vinecorps participant, growing alongside our organization from a young person with big dreams into a talented college student and aspiring artist. Throughout her journey with us, she hasn’t just grown—she’s given back. Through Vinecorps, she has contributed to her community, shown up for others, and continued to embody the creativity, compassion, determination, and leadership that make her so special.

Today, she is a Junior Theatre major at the University of Maryland–College Park, pursuing her passion for acting and storytelling. She has been accepted to study at Yonsei International Summer School in South Korea, an opportunity that will allow her to explore global performance, learn from another culture, and gain firsthand insight into Korea’s influential entertainment industry. 🇰🇷🎥

For a young artist who is curious, courageous, hardworking, and deeply passionate about her craft, this experience could be transformative. Unfortunately, financial challenges have made it difficult for her family to cover the full cost of this experience. ✈️🌏

🏕️🌲 This camping trip was about so much more than spending time outdoors—it was about growth, confidence, and discover what we’re capable of.

For many of our youth, this was their very first camping experience. From setting up camp and unplugging from daily routines to working together and embracing new challenges, every moment helped build resilience, independence, and lasting friendships. 💚

One of the highlights was white water rafting! 🌊🚣🏽 Some of our brave youth even took the leap by jumping from a small cliff into the water, showing that courage often starts with stepping outside your comfort zone. 💪🏽

We’re so proud of every young person who embraced the adventure, supported one another, and created memories that will last a lifetime. ✨



🏕️🌲 Este campamento fue mucho más que pasar tiempo al aire libre; fue una oportunidad para crecer, fortalecer la confianza y ver de lo que somos capaz.

Para muchos de nuestros jóvenes, esta fue su primera experiencia acampando. Desde armar el campamento y desconectarse de la rutina diaria hasta trabajar en equipo y enfrentar nuevos desafíos, cada momento ayudó a desarrollar resiliencia, independencia y amistades que perdurarán. 💚

Uno de los momentos más emocionantes fue hacer rafting en aguas rápidas! 🌊🚣🏽Algunos de nuestros valientes jóvenes incluso se animaron a saltar desde un pequeño acantilado al agua, demostrando que el valor muchas veces comienza al salir de nuestra zona de confort. 💪🏽

Nos sentimos muy orgullosos de cada joven que aceptó el reto, apoyó a los demás y creó recuerdos que durarán toda la vida. ✨

The mosque was so nice, we had to go twice! 🕌🤩

Recently, we had the opportunity to bring two groups of our participants to visit the Diyanet Center of America! During our visits, our youth gave back through community service by helping organize storage spaces and assisting with trash disposal. 🚮💪🏽

After serving, we were treated to a tour of the mosque. We explored the campus, enjoyed delicious food from the café 🧆, and asked lots of questions. We also got to learn more about the center’s history, culture, and we got to truly appreciate the beauty of the masjid. ✨☺️

We wrapped up the day by staying active at DCA’s sports center! Some participants went for a swim in the pool 🏊🏽‍♀️, while others hit the basketball court to shoot some hoops. ⛹🏽🏀

A huge thank you to Diyanet Center of America for welcoming us with such kindness and hospitality. We truly appreciate the opportunity to serve, learn, and build meaningful community connections. We look forward to visiting again! 🙏🏽

Every great adventure starts somewhere, and this week was all about laying the foundation. From orientation and team building to making a splash at the pool, our Summer Leadership Adventure Program is off to a strong start! ☀️💪🏽🏊🏽‍♀️

This summer, our youth will step outside their comfort zones, try new experiences, build leadership skills, make new friendships, and discover strengths they didn’t know they had. We’re excited to watch them learn, grow, and create memories that will last long after summer ends.

Our very first Parent Peace Retreat was a success! ✌🏽This day was created with one purpose: to give our parents the chance to slow down, breathe, connect, and pour back into themselves. 😌🤍 Through meaningful conversations, laughter, reflection, and shared experiences, we were reminded of the importance to step back and look for little moments of peace. ☮️

It takes a village—and we’re so grateful for ours! For the second full year, our Parent Cafés have continued to be a place where parents can come together to connect, reflect, and support one another. 🌱 Each month, families gather to share their experiences, discuss meaningful topics, celebrate wins, navigate challenges, exchange resources, and practice effective communication and active listening in a space built on trust, respect, and understanding. 🤝🏽

This year was especially meaningful because every one of our table hosts—a parent of one of our students—led a Parent Café! 👏🏽🎉 Watching these incredible parents step into leadership roles has been inspiring. Parent Café was created for parents, and seeing it now being led by parents is a beautiful reminder of what happens when we invest in one another. 🤍

We are so proud of each of our table hosts for sharing their voices, creating welcoming spaces for others, and helping strengthen our community one conversation at a time. Your courage, compassion, and leadership have made a lasting impact. 🌟

As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue growing our parent engagement, empowering more family leaders, and creating even more opportunities for connection, learning, and support. Because when parents feel connected, families thrive—and so do our young people. 🫶🏽💪🏽

Se necesita una comunidad para criar a nuestros jóvenes, y estamos profundamente agradecidos por la nuestra! Por segundo año consecutivo, nuestros Cafes para padres han seguido siendo un espacio donde los padres pueden reunirse para conectar, reflexionar y apoyarse mutuamente. 🌱 Cada mes, nuestras familias comparten sus experiencias, conversan sobre temas importantes, celebran sus logros, enfrentan desafíos, intercambian recursos y fortalecen sus habilidades de comunicación y escuchar activa en un ambiente de confianza, respeto y comprensión. 🤝🏽

Este año fue especialmente significativo porque cada uno de nuestros anfitriones de mesa—quienes también son padres de nuestros estudiantes—dirigió un Cafe para Padres! 👏🏽🎉 Ver a estos increíbles padres asumir nuevos roles de liderazgo ha sido verdaderamente inspirador. Los Cafes para Padres fueron creados para los padres, y ahora verlos dirijidos por los padres es un hermoso reflejo de lo que sucede cuando invertimos en nuestra comunidad y empoderamos a nuestras familias. 🤍

Estamos muy orgullosos de cada uno de nuestros anfitriones por compartir su voz, crear espacios acogedores para otras familias y ayudar a fortalecer nuestra comunidad, una conversación a la vez. 🌟

We’re officially in full summer mode! 🥵 As we kick off our summer program, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an incredible school year. 📚😌

This year, we had the opportunity to support our students through so many meaningful programs, including Student Check Ups, Botvin LifeSkills, wellness trips, and afterschool programming! 🌱✨

Our Marigold Center remained open as a safe and welcoming space whenever students needed it. 🫂 Throughout the year, we hosted fun lunch activities like bracelet making, painting picture frames, card games, and provided extra tutoring support. 🎨🧵🃏📖

During afterschool, we partnered with so many amazing people and organizations to bring unforgettable experiences to our youth. Students learned flower arranging, participated in an improv workshop, became CPR certified, practiced self-defense, and so much more! 💐🎭❤️🥋 We were also incredibly honored that, for the first time, Vinecorps helped organize and celebrate an Eid celebration for the entire school which was so beautiful to be a part of. 🌙✨🤍

We’re also so proud of our staff for becoming certified Teen Mental Health First Aid Instructors! 🙌🏽🧠💚 They were able to teach the course to an entire grade level, empowering students with the skills and confidence to recognize when a peer may need support and how to respond.

Looking back, we’re filled with gratitude for every student, family, partner, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this school year so special. 🥹 Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in our young people. Together, we created opportunities to learn, grow, connect, and thrive. 🌱

We can’t wait to continue making memories, building community, and creating even more amazing experiences for our youth. Here’s to another season of learning, laughter, and growth!✨

What a wonderful evening! 🥹 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our fundraiser and helped make the night so special! 🎉 We are incredibly grateful to our friends, sponsors, families, alumni, community partners, and everyone who donated their time, resources, and generosity to support our mission. 💚

Seeing so many familiar faces gathered together reminded us just how strong, connected, and caring this community truly is. 🤝🏽🫂 It was wonderful catching up with old friends, connecting with the families we serve, and welcoming back our amazing alumni. 🫶🏽😊
