Two bills are currently moving through the legislature to support the work of the Public Education Funding Commission: one aims to implement the hybrid funding model, the other to extend the life of the Commission. The VC is encouraged by the Public Education Funding Commission’s (PEFC) progress toward creating a more student-centered and flexible funding formula and by new legislation supporting these recommendations.
