Self-nominations for the 2022-2023 DLHS Student Council Executive Board are now open! Any student who has at least one year of STUCO experience is qualified to run for an Executive Board position. Next year’s Executive Board positions include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and School Board Representative. Students running for STUCO President MUST be a member of the Class of 2023. Students interested in running for an Executive Board position should go see Mrs. DeLuca in room 208 as soon as possible! Any questions or concerns should also be directed to Mrs. DeLuca

The DLHS Senior Dinner Dance is almost here! Be sure to purchase your tickets on May 16th and May 17th for a cost of $20. After May 17th tickets will cost $25. Tickets can be purchased in Mrs. Shipley’s room and Mrs. DeLuca’s room. The last day to purchase tickets is May 25th!

This Friday, April 29, will be Deer Lakes Decision Day at DLHS! Deer Lakes Decision Day is loosely inspired by National College Decision Day, which unfortunately falls on a Sunday this year! Due to the timing of National College Decision Day(as well as the beginning of AP Exams on Monday, May 2), all DLHS seniors should wear apparel representing their future plans on Friday, April 29! Despite being based on National College Decision Day, Deer Lakes Decision Day celebrates the future plans of ALL Seniors, regardless of whether they plan on attending college, trade school, entering the workforce, joining the military, etc. We can’t wait to see all our DLHS Seniors in their future plans apparel this Friday, April 29!

Help support DL Cheer and their Holiday Food Drive by bringing a donation to tonight’s DLHS Boys Basketball game! Come out to the game to support the Lancers as they take on Avonworth and help give back to the Deer Lakes community! The JV game will begin at 6pm and the Varsity game will begin at 7:30PM! So be sure to dress up in your best Christmas attire and bring a donation to help give back to our DL community!
