Otto Specht School The Otto Specht School is operated by Threefold Educational Center in cooperation with the Rudolf Steiner Fellowship Foundation and the Fellowship Community.

Otto Specht School offers a developmentally appropriate academic and artistic curriculum in small, individualized classes for children with developmental delays, social and sensory sensitivities, and learning challenges (K-12). Based on the enlightened and carefully drawn insights into child development of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), the Otto Specht School is designed for children with learning differences, alternative learning styles, and sensory and social sensitivities. Classes have a ratio of no more than one teacher to five children, and each child benefits from an individualized pedagogical program designed to address her or his particular needs. Academic work is integrated with dramatic, visual, musical and movement arts, as well as practical skills including cooking, weaving, woodwork, metalwork, farming and animal care. "Whether gathering eggs from the chicken coop, harvesting chard, sewing a doll, studying history, or building a bench, the education we offer is not defined by the walls of a classroom: the world is our classroom."

Don’t have a DAF yet? A donor-advised fund is a charitable giving account that lets you set aside funds now and recommend grants to nonprofits you care about over time. What's a DAF?? How can I use one to give more to the causes I care about?

A DAF is a charitable giving account. Commit funds for giving, enjoy the tax benefit, watch your account grow tax-free, then give to a non-profit when you're ready.

Half of donors are able to more than DOUBLE their giving using a DAF. That means more support for the causes you care about most!

DAF Day is a national day of giving that celebrates the many ways donor-advised funds can strengthen the causes and communities we care about. A sweet tradition, shared together. 🍎🍯

Last week, OSS students and teachers worked side by side to create beautiful platters of Rosh Hashanah apples and honey for our community to enjoy.

Throughout the year, we come together to celebrate many holidays and festivals -learning about one another’s traditions, marking the changing seasons, and making meaningful memories as a school community. These shared celebrations help deepen the sense of connection and belonging at the heart of OSS.
