The Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies invites you to join us at Boston College for the 2026 Feore Family Lecture, featuring renowned Jesuit studies scholar Ines Županov, Senior Research Fellow (emerita) at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris.

Županov will present “Truth and Storytelling in India and Beyond (16th–18th Centuries),” exploring the rich intersections of history, storytelling, and Jesuit engagement in early modern India.

The Feore Family Lecture Series brings leading scholars in Jesuit Studies to Boston College for thought-provoking lectures and conversations with the University community and the public. The annual event also honors excellence in the field by presenting the George E. Ganss, S.J., Award in Jesuit Studies, which recognizes significant scholarly contributions to Jesuit Studies.

Some 300 young people from across the country are participating in a BC pilot program that seeks to promote the renewal and expansion of Catholic faith practices with a yearlong immersion in faith exploration and service through Jesuit spirituality.

The program - AMDG - is being operated by the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College and supported through a $10 million grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc. through its National Youth and Young Adult Initiative on Faith and Service.

The participants come from Boston College and 24 other Jesuit institutions—high schools, colleges/universities, and parishes—across 18 states.

“Though each participant has a different background and experience, what ties them together is an openness to Catholic belief and practice,” said AMDG Program Director William Healy.

{New Publication Now Available from Jesuit Sources}
"Philosophy as a Spiritual Exercise" explores the unique and powerful contributions of Jesuit thought to the world of philosophy. Spanning the rich history of the Society of Jesus—from its founding to the present day—this collection of essays delves into the wisdom of the Order's founding documents and key figures. At its core, the book examines the deep interplay between St. Ignatius' "Spiritual Exercises" and philosophical inquiry, offering fresh insights into how philosophy shapes spiritual development—and how spiritual practice enriches philosophical thought. A must-read for scholars, seekers, and anyone interested in the transformative power of intellectual and spiritual exploration. Get your copy here: https://bit.ly/4bcSM4X
