High School students Jack and Leah had a wonderful time exploring the light-up sensory drum created by Boston College undergraduates in Professor Hira’s Innovation Through Engineering Design course.
The interactive drum changes color when touched and produces a soothing, rainstick-like sound when shaken, creating a fun and engaging sensory experience.
A special thank you to the talented BC undergraduates and Professor Hira for this ongoing and impactful collaboration with the Department of Engineering. 🦅

We are so grateful to the 20+ Boston College alumni and family members who volunteered at Campus School this past Saturday during BC Reunion Weekend!
This outstanding group helped bring our upcoming Summer Session theme, Bears!, to life by creating six beautiful bulletin boards and even building an amazing bear cave for students to explore. The theme is inspired by "The Bears of Katmai: Alaska's Famous Brown Bears" and will support this summer's Readtopia unit across all classrooms.
A special thank-you to Amy Harrington from BC Alumni Relations, along with Campus School Director Jessica Pugliesi and Volunteer Coordinator Annie Leary, for making this paws-itively awesome project possible!
We can't wait to welcome another Reunion Weekend group next year. 🐾
