Have you heard about the Scramble but are not exactly sure what it is or what's involved? Here are the basics.
The StartUp Scramble is not a hackathon--it's a crash-course in everything student startup. The program immerses students in a 40-hour experience that field-tests their ability to apply and develop new skills, tools, and networks that lead to personal insights. Attendees must have the goal of becoming better all-around innovators, collaborators, and founders. In the Scramble, attendees:
Apply emerging innovation and entrepreneurship practices while pursuing startup ideas with real potential.
Improve your ability to evaluate strategic options and make decisions faster under tight time constraints with little information.
Pitch to potential investors, advisors and stakeholders.
Get experience managing and leading innovation projects in high-performance teams.
Sharpen your field skills in venture modeling and startup sales, legal, and finance issues.
Refine market research, business validation, and coaching skills.
Exchange and learn best-practices from peers and coaches from a number of industries
Access an expanded network of students, alumni, and local business leaders.
