ICE has arrested over 7,030 people across Massachusetts during Donald Trump’s first 15 months in office, many of them Brazilian and Guatemalan individuals.
More than 7,000 ICE arrests in Massachusetts so far under Trump
Under Trump arrests have swept up people from 100 countries, with the highest numbers coming from Brazil and Guatemala. They took place at local courthouses, police departments, the federal courthouse in Boston and in the streets of Massachusetts cities and towns.

The U.S. Supreme Court has heard arguments in a case to overturn birthright citizenship. If reversed, newborns would no longer automatically receive citizenship despite being born in the United States. Such a change could also affect federal funding for state-administered programs and require new bureaucratic processes in hospitals and public schools.
