We intended on making ONE BASKET of supplies for a local teacher. We made SIX BOXES full of teacher goodies. From art supplies to different math manipulatives. Our collection was more than amazing!!!

Students in PA have begun taking the PSSA's, and this time can be really stressful. KDE was able to give 200 cards to three different schools in Philadelphia earlier this week.

Did you know that almost all to most art supplies in a classroom are gone by this time of the year??? KDE is collecting art supplies for schools now until April. Any and all supplies will help! Crayons, Colored Pencils, Markers, Construction Paper, Glue and etc.

Today KDE went into a small school in West Philly with mason jars full of goodies and a special card for each staff member in the school. Each exchange began with a look of surprise and ended with a smile. “We never get anything.” said one of the teachers. Today was full of smiles and appreciation. Thank you teachers and staff members that help our children grow.

Thank you fellow members Samantha Homka Shequoya Bonner Lindsey Ridenour for baking all those yummy treat and helping with our bake sale/change drop! We were able to raise over $150 and with that money, we were able to make teacher appreciation gifts for an entire staff/faculty at a Public West Philly School!

Tis the season for coughing, sniffling and sneezing. Last month KDE took on the Health Initiative! We collected hand sanitizer, tissues and cleaning wipes. We were able to make ten generous size bags full of supplies that we will give to a school nearby. Most teachers spend so much money out of pocket on buying just basic essential things to keep their classroom running nicely and looking nicely. We can’t wait to give out these bags!

Hello Everyone,
I am asking for your help, to help my national honor society raise money to help teachers and classrooms in the Philadelphia School District. It is that time of year again, flu season, teachers spend so much money trying to keep supplies in their classroom. We are trying to reach a goal of donating supplies to as many classrooms as possible. Baskets filled with tissues, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes.
