To conclude our COVID-19 vaccine awareness campaign from last week, we are excited to share a new podcast episode focusing on the impact of the pandemic on Latinx communities and potential implications it may have going forward into the future. This episode is led by our Events Coordinator, Paola Sanchez, and our Sophomore Representative, Jose Rosario. Also, all people ages 16+ who live, work, and study in Massachusetts are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine, so be sure to check out the MA government website for more information on how to register and what locations are available!

Lastly, BC just announced that 4,500 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available from the federal government for distribution on campus next week. Vaccination opportunities will be open to all currently enrolled undergraduate students, so make sure to check your BC emails for any updates!

Hello to everybody! For Day 4 of our vaccine campaign awareness we want to inform on the different types of COVID-19 vaccines that are currently being used and address some misconceptions about them. Specifically, we concentraded on the composition and effects of the vaccine. We will also be posting further myths and misconceptions tomorrow as there are a lot to address!

Hi, everybody! The Organization of Latin American Affairs recognizes how greatly the Latinx community has been impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. As a result, we thought it our responsibility to make sure that our community has the available information and resources to stay safe and informed. We will be dedicating this next week to a COVID-19 awareness campaign. Specifically, we will be focusing on vaccination and it’s effects on the community.
