BREAKING NEWS: The Women’s Summit team is beyond excited to announce that Sarah Kay will be our keynote speaker for this year’s Summit! Kay is a well-known and well-respected slam poet and is also the founder and co-director of Project VOICE, a program that uses performances and workshops to improve literacy and empowerment in elementary and middle school classrooms across the country. Kay gained national recognition for her 2011 TEDTalk titled “If I Should Have a Daughter,” in which she addresses issues of female empowerment and expression. We are honored to have Sarah Kay coming to BC in February not only as our keynote speaker, but also as the leader of one of the Summit’s many workshops for our attendees.
The Women's Summit is designed to empower all attendees by connecting them with a community of fellow classmates, speakers, and guests, and creating a space in which to have meaningful conversations and share game-changing ideas.
