Chestertown Christian Academy is thrilled to welcome Mrs. Amanda Worth as our new Elementary Instructional Assistant!

Mrs. Worth brings more than 13 years of experience in children's ministry, where she has developed a deep passion for helping young learners grow academically and ground their lives in faith. Over the years, she has faithfully served in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and various children's programs, crafting engaging, Christ-centered experiences for students of all ages.

Many of our families will already recognize Mrs. Worth, as she has been a wonderful face around CCA since February, serving in our After Care program and as a substitute teacher. During this time, she has built meaningful relationships across our campus while continually demonstrating a caring spirit, a servant's heart, and a steadfast commitment to Christian education.

In addition to her special family connections to CCA, Mrs. Worth remains active in the local community, serving in the children’s ministry at Hope Fellowship and participating in outreach efforts like Operation Christmas Child. She firmly believes that every child is uniquely created by God, and she considers it a true privilege to help students discover and develop their God-given gifts.

We are so grateful for the enthusiasm, heart, and dedication Mrs. Worth brings to our elementary team, and we know she will be a wonderful blessing to our classrooms this year. Please join us in giving her a warm CCA welcome!

Chestertown Christian Academy is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our teaching staff for the upcoming school year. We are growing and have openings for a Technology Teacher, Upper School Science Teacher, Upper School ELA Teacher, and an Elementary Teacher.

We welcome candidates interested in full-time roles, but we are also open to part-time schedules for candidates seeking that flexibility.

Chestertown Christian Academy is delighted to announce that Mrs. Angie Deen is joining our faculty for the upcoming school year as our new upper school history teacher.

Originally from southern Minnesota, Mrs. Deen graduated from Blooming Prairie High School before earning her bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Political Science from Southwest Minnesota State University. She brings a wonderful, unique blend of professional and educational experience to our classrooms. Before following her passion for education, she spent 15 years working as an insurance underwriter specializing in farm and liability insurance. Her teaching background includes serving as an instructional assistant in a Montessori school with fourth through sixth grade students, and most recently, as a lead K4 teacher in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Mrs. Deen is married to Rev. Keffie Deen II, and together they have faithfully served churches and schools throughout Illinois, New York, and Wisconsin. In June 2025, they relocated to Chestertown, where Rev. Deen now serves as the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Deen enjoys photography, scrapbooking, crafting, and exploring local history. She frequently shares these passions with her students and church community to encourage lifelong creativity, curiosity, and connection.

Mrs. Deen is incredibly excited to join the CCA family. She looks forward to sharing her love of history, fostering a thoughtful learning environment, and, most importantly, pointing her students to Christ in all that they do. She is deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with our families and humbly asks for your prayers as she begins this new school year.
