📣 We’re hiring at Radcliffe Creek School!

We are excited to welcome TWO new members to our team who will help us strengthen relationships, grow our reach, and share the story of a school where students with learning differences discover their strengths and thrive.

Director of Advancement & Strategic Partnerships

We’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven leader to guide RCS’s philanthropic efforts, deepen relationships throughout the Eastern Shore, and build new partnerships across Maryland and beyond. This person will work closely with school leadership and our Board to grow individual, foundation, corporate, and community support for our mission.

Advancement & Events Associate

We’re also looking for a creative, exceptionally organized doer who loves bringing people together. This person will lead the planning and ex*****on of RCS events, including Run for Radcliffe, admissions and community events, Discover, Create, Thrive nights, and our 30th Anniversary celebration. The role will also support advancement efforts and help keep our families connected through our weekly newsletter, photography, and timely school communications.

For both positions, we’re looking for people who genuinely believe in the potential of students who learn differently and are excited to help more people become part of the RCS story.

Looking for a leadership role where you can make a real difference? 🏫 Radcliffe Creek School is in search of a Director of Special Education in Chestertown, MD.

In this role, you will support our learning systems, build personalized school plans, and use testing data to help students succeed. You will also work closely with families and guide the growth of a brand-new transition program for our graduating 8th graders.

You will be the go-to support person for our teachers, helping them pick the best hands-on learning strategies and leading staff training. On top of coaching, you will work directly with kids using the Orton-Gillingham method to boost their reading skills and help screen new students who want to join our school.

Today, we gather to celebrate our incredible eighth graders as they officially graduate and take their next big steps into high school.

We could not be prouder of the unique strengths, creativity, and leadership you have brought to our campus. At Radcliffe Creek School, you haven't just learned from textbooks; you have learned how to advocate for yourselves, think outside the box, and navigate challenges with confidence and resilience. Our final individual graduate spotlight shines on another incredible member of our eighth-grade class, Rene!

Next year, Rene is heading to Wye River Upper School. They are exceptionally talented and creative, aiming to channel their artistic passions into a future career in stop-motion animation or professional drumming. Reflecting on their time with us, Rene shares that what they are going to miss the most after graduation is the wonderful teachers who have supported them every step of the way.

Rene, your unique talents have brought so much joy to our school, and we wish you the absolute best of luck as you begin this exciting new high school journey!

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate our next graduate, Garrison!

Next year, Garrison is continuing his academic journey at the Baltimore Lab School. He is a deeply creative soul who plans to spend his future bringing his unique characters to life through art, drawing, and comic books. Garrison has fully immersed himself in the RCS experience, and he shares that he is deeply going to miss the classrooms, his helpful teachers, his friends, fun times at recess, and the excitement of the drama play.

Join us as we cheer on our next incredible graduate, Lemar!

Next year, Lemar is heading off to high school at Crofton High School. He is passionate about sports and has set his sights on taking the pitch to become a professional soccer player. Lemar has truly valued the learning environment here, sharing that what he will miss the most about Radcliffe is the small class sizes that allowed for such great connections.

We are sending you the biggest congratulations, Lemar, and we wish you a fantastic and successful adventure ahead in high school!

Today, we are incredibly proud to spotlight our next eighth-grade graduate, Femi!

Next year, Femi is moving on to high school at The Gunston School. He has big aspirations on the court and hopes to take his talents all the way to the professional level as a basketball player in the NBA, or to become a businessman. Femi has loved many aspects of his time at Radcliffe, sharing that he will truly miss the enrichment classes, his dedicated teachers, and the close friends he made here.

Femi, we are going to miss your energy so much, and we are cheering you on as you take this next big step!

He has a passion for storytelling and creative vision, aiming to sit in the director's chair one day as a professional movie director. Tristan has made so many wonderful connections during his time with us, and he shares that what he will miss most about Radcliffe is the incredible support of his teachers and the daily laughs with his friends.
