Bonhomme Preschool and Kids Day Out Welcome to Bonhomme Preschool and Kids Day Out—Where Children, Faith, and Families Grow! KDO is offered daily, 9:00 a.m.–3 p.m. September through May.

Our KIDS DAY OUT (KDO) classrooms are staffed by experienced caregivers and are equipped with developmentally appropriate materials. The daily schedule is relaxed but follows a routine that helps children feel safe and secure at school. Children (ages six months to pre kindergarten) may be enrolled one or multiple days. Bonhomme’s PRESCHOOL program has been in existence since 1969. We believe that

children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. Our curriculum is carefully structured so children can choose activities that will help them grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually, with the goal of providing a healthy balance between child-centered and teacher-directed activities. We have classes for two-year-olds through Pre-Kindergarten. Each classroom is staffed by degreed and experienced teachers. The school year runs September through May. Hours of Operation- Bonhomme Preschool and KDO office hours are as follows:
8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday
8:30 a.m. - 3p.m. Friday

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL:
KDO children should be dropped off in their classroom at 9:00 a.m., and picked up by 3 p.m. PRESCHOOL children may be dropped off and picked up in the carpool line. (Morning drop-off at 9:00 a.m., pick-up at 12:00 p.m. There is an extended day option everyday until 3:00. Please wait for a teacher to walk your child into the school building. CARPOOL Numbers will be assigned to Preschool families and should be shown at dismissal. To insure security, if a number is lost, it should be reported immediately to the office. Written notification (please pin a note to the outside of your child's bag) is required if your child is to go home in some manner other than what is on record in the school office. INCLEMENT WEATHER In case of inclement weather, please listen to KMOX 1120 AM or watch KSDK Channel 5. Preschool and KDO will be closed if Parkway School District is closed or on snow schedule because of weather.
