Special thanks to this amazing team who has supported so much of what we have accomplished this year! π
We just had our last PTO meeting of the school year year. Where did the time go?!
A few highlights:
- We have enough funds to cover expenses for the remainder of this year (thanks to so many of our awesome PTO members!)
- Plans for May activities including the teacher appreciation luncheon, senior picnic baskets, and baccalaureate are nearly finalized
- We sent out information earlier today regarding nominations for PTO officer roles next season - please let us know if you or anybody you know may be interested and a good fit
Note: Prom setup will begin at 9:30am on Saturday, 4/27 at the Cultural Center of India in Chester, and the team could still use extra support to decorate if you or anybody you know can help (if so, feel free to just stop by).
Sharing this on behalf of a generous offer from Clover Hill High school:

The last chance to check out a huge selection of FREE prom dresses, shoes, and accessories is this Sunday, 4/14 from 12:00-4:00 pm at Clover Hill High School! This event is open to ANY CCPS high schooler, so please feel free to share the flyer with friends, neighbors, etc! We have close to 100 dresses left in a variety of styles ranging from size 0-20, so schedule your appointment using the QR code below or by using this link: bit.ly/chhspromdrive
Hope to see you there!"
PTO members - There are a few ways you can help our PTO in the coming months, as follows.
Volunteering for events:
- Baccalaureate: We are starting to plan this event for our graduating seniors which will be held on Sunday, 5/19 and will need help with various activities leading up to that
- Prom: We have been asked to help decorating for prom Saturday, 4/27 morning at the Cultural Center of India
There are also many exciting events the PTO is supporting over the next few months and we need your donations to make them happen.
The first of those events is Teacher Appreciation Week. Help show our Matoaca High School teachers how grateful we are for them:
- Gift Cards: Sign-Up Genius to donate: https://m.signupgenius.com/ #!/showSignUp/10C0A44AEAB22AB9-48330114-gift
