Working in Support of Education, a national nonprofit also known as W!SE, in April recognized Chesterfield County Public Schools in three ways for instruction in personal finance for the 2020-21 school year:

Three of the nation’s top 100 W!SE high schools are in Chesterfield County Public Schools: Cosby, Thomas Dale and Midlothian. The main factor in this national ranking is the school’s average score on the W!SE financial literacy certification test with consideration given to eligibility for free lunch and the proportion of test takers in the school population.
W!SE Blue Star Schools
Four Chesterfield County high schools were named W!SE Blue Star Schools: Clover Hill, Cosby, James River and Midlothian. To earn this award, schools must achieve an 80% passing rate on the W!SE financial literacy certification test and have either a majority of students on a given grade level receive personal finance instruction or have at least 10% of school enrollment take the certification test.

Our PTO’s goal is to do what is necessary to help grow and support a strong and positive relationship among students, teachers, staff members, parents, and the community. We provide a variety of support for items such as teacher appreciation, scholarships, prom and baccalaureate, and much more!

Memberships are only $5 ($5.50 online) and support our students and teachers in a a variety of ways. You can join at the concession stand at football games or online via the link below. ✅
There is no obligation for any time commitment, but you are welcome to join us for our monthly meetings the 4th Monday of each month at 6pm in the library or via Zoom (just let us know if you need a link). The next meeting is next Monday, 8/23.

Teacher Appreciation is right around the corner. Please take the time from May 6th to 10th to tell your child's teachers how much you appreciate them. Send in a note, an email, a gift card, etc. They never hear enough that what they do each day is appreciated.
