Our students had a great time at this last Sunday’s session getting ready for the holiday of Purim! They made shaloch manos, groggers, hamantashen, and puppets! They also enjoyed a session with Shelley from Rhythm n’ Ruach. We are all excited for our Purim party next week!

We had another great session last week! Our students celebrated Tu B’Shevat with special projects and books and enjoyed eating some of the seven species we get from Israel! They also continuing their learning of the weekly Parsha, Hebrew, and their grade level topics.

We had a great Chanukah party this past Sunday! Thank you to Epstein Hebrew Academy for hosting us! Thank you also to Shelley Dean of Rhythm n’ Ruach for leading us in Chanukah music! The kids enjoyed making framed decorations, making CD dreidels, making ribbon Jewish stars, playing dreidel, playing trivia, and making Chanukah symbols out of playdough.

Our students were so excited to have their first music sessions last week with Shelley Dean from Rhythm and Ruach! This will be a new semimonthly program.

We had a great time last week at our Family Sukkah party at the Yari’s! Guests enjoyed stories from Rabbi Yari, brunch, a bounce house, balloon-making by Michael Geerlof, and making challah with Mrs. Yari’s amazing dough!

We have had a great first three weeks of Hebrew School! Our students have been busy getting ready for the High Holidays. This past week they created simanim plates, machzors, and apples and honey trays! We look forward to another great session tomorrow!

It's that time of year again--the Aish Hebrew School is now in its 14th year and open for enrollment! Your school age child will gain happy lifelong memories, plus benefit from:

– Robust curriculum covering: Torah values, weekly Torah portion, holidays, mitzvot, grade level topics, and prayer

– Hebrew language instruction at each child’s level

– Bar/Bat mitzvah program

– Curriculum that builds upon the traditions from the past, and creates excitement about being a Jew today and in the future.

We meet every Sunday, 10 am-noon. Tuition is affordable, and there are no membership dues or building fund obligations associated with the Sunday School. No child will be turned away due to a lack of funds or other financial issues.
