For Writing Wednesday, Mrs. Parker's 4th Grade ELA students worked with their color teams to discuss a writing prompt and collaboratively create a piece of writing. ✏️📚 They are working together as they move through the writing process—sharing ideas, listening to one another, making decisions, and building on each other’s thinking.

But the learning goes beyond writing! 💬❤️ Students are building relationships, practicing teamwork, and having meaningful conversations with their classmates.

Learning + collaboration + relationships = a winning team! 🌟

EES students enjoyed another special visit from guest reader Mrs. Kitt Lisenby—and this time, she came dressed as a duck! 🦆

Students enjoyed several duck-themed read-alouds, singing, dancing, and a special surprise: Mrs. Lisenby left every student with a duck reading buddy! 📖💙
