"Hi! My name is ****, and I'm currently a junior at Fort Zumwalt West High School. I was selected for the CEA program this year, and I just completed my job shadowing experience at Horner & Shifrin today.

It was a great experience to be able to shadow there, and I learned a lot! It became especially interesting when we were discussing PFAS, a subject with which they work a lot with and something that I am doing academic research on.

A huge shout out to Local 562 Plumbers and Pipefitters Training Center, for hosting some of our CEA high school students this week!

Such a fun afternoon for these St. Charles County high school students. Learning all about a career in Forensics Science and about the amazing opportunities and programs SLU has for high school and college students. Our CEA students recently completed another successful shadow experience, thanks to a generous donation of time from Antibody Research Corporation, providing hands-on experience in biotech, medical, and life sciences research.
