💛 Every child deserves the chance to simply be a kid.

At Cadence Academy Preschool, our mission is centered around helping children learn, grow, play, and make lifelong memories. That's why partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is so important to us. St. Jude shares the same belief: that kids should be focused on being kids, not battling cancer.

This year, our school is proud to participate in the St. Jude Walk/5K in St. Louis to help support the life-saving research and care that St. Jude provides to children and families. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, allowing them to focus on what matters most: helping their child heal.

We would be honored if you would support our team by making a donation, sharing this post, or cheering us on as we walk. Together, we can help ensure more children have the opportunity to laugh, learn, play, and just be kids.

Back to School Professional Development Day 2026! 🍎📚

While our kiddos enjoyed a day off our teachers were hard at work! The lobby was decorated for a fun and playful welcome and then the real fun started! Our teachers played a fun game of dress up, mingled, and then were asked to remember what everyone was wearing. It isn’t a shocker that Ms Rachel from Early Preschool One remembered the most (by a lot!) because two year olds are some busy bodies! Then we dived right into trainings about reading best practices, safety topics, and creating lesson plans!

We are so proud of all of the hard work and attentiveness our teachers gave today. They were present, had great conversations, and worked together! Thank you, team! And thank you parents for letting us have this day to grow! 🤍

Breakfast is better with a buddy! 💚🥞

We are SO excited to welcome back our friends who spend their summers at home! While summer break is full of fun and family time, getting back into the school routine can sometimes come with a few big feelings. 💚

Thankfully, our teachers are experts at making every child feel welcomed, comfortable, and right at home! From morning smiles to buddy breakfasts, we love finding fun ways to reconnect, build friendships, and help our returning friends settle back into their school routine.

We didn't know we were learning, we just knew we were having fun! ♥ 🍦

Our Preschool One students have enjoyed playing "Ice Cream Shop"! They learned early math concepts by counting ice cream and other sweets and putting them in the correct shopping bags. Great job, Preschoolers!

🎶✨ Making memories and making music! ✨🎶

We had the BEST time with Ms. Libby's Music Class today! 🎵 Our little musicians sang, danced, played, and explored the joy of music together. 💃🕺🥁

Music class is more than just fun (although we definitely have LOTS of that! 😉)! It helps our children build confidence, practice listening and following directions, strengthen communication skills, explore rhythm and movement, and express themselves in creative ways. 🌈🎶

There were plenty of smiles, giggles, and maybe a few future rock stars in the making! ⭐️🎤

A big THANK YOU to Ms. Libby for filling our school with so much music, laughter, and joy! 💕🎶

💛 Celebrating 12 Years of Ms. Margaret! 💛

For the past 12 years, Ms. Margaret has been a beloved part of our Cadence Academy Preschool family! 🥰

If you’ve been part of our school for any length of time, you probably know Ms. Margaret as the loving teacher of Toddler One. Year after year, she has welcomed our littlest learners with patience, warmth, and so much love. She has helped countless children take those first big steps toward independence, learning, and growing—and has been a trusted partner to so many families along the way. 🧸✨

Ms. Margaret’s dedication is truly something special. Twelve years of caring for, teaching, comforting, encouraging, and celebrating our children is a beautiful legacy, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!

Thank you, Ms. Margaret, for 12 incredible years! 💕 Here’s to all the little lives you’ve touched and all the memories still to come! 🌟
