Advanced Placement Musical Theatre + Improv Troupe auditions are coming up on August 31!

If you’re interested in joining Advanced Placement Musical Theatre, please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song. A dance call will also be taught at auditions.

Advanced Placement: 5:00–6:30 PM
Improv Troupe: 7:00–8:00 PM

Come prepared, come ready to have fun, and we’ll see you at auditions!

Fall classes are now open for registration at Stages Performing Arts Academy!

We have a wide range of classes available this semester, from acting and dance to musical theatre, improv, private lessons, and more. Find the class that’s right for you and join us this fall.

We’re excited to meet everyone and see what you’ve been working on. Make sure you come prepared with everything listed below, and don’t forget to review the dance call videos on the Sign Up Genius before you arrive.

Auditions are from 5–9 PM tonight. Come ready to work, have fun, and show us what you’ve got.

TeamSTAGES auditions are officially tomorrow, August 11th, and we want to make sure you’re ready!

If you haven’t signed up yet, the link is in our bio! And before you walk through those doors, make sure you have everything prepared:
32 bars of a musical theatre song
32 bars in a style of your choice
1-minute monologue
Interview questions
Headshot + resume
Dance call
*please make sure you have tracks ready for your songs, there is no accompaniment provided.

IMPORTANT: The dance call videos have been posted on the Sign-Up Genius, so make sure you’ve watched them and learned the choreography before tomorrow!

Meet Paula Dean, one of the choreographers for TeamSTAGES!

With more than 25 years in the St. Louis theatre community and 23 years with STAGES, Paula brings a wealth of experience to our program. Her background as a vocalist, performer, and educator inspires students to grow in technique, confidence, and storytelling.

We’re excited for our TeamSTAGES dancers to learn from Paula this season!
