Career conversations tend to be more helpful when people can speak honestly about where they are.
That’s what Pivot Point Collective is built around.
Some members come looking for 📍 direction. Others come to share perspectives, reconnect with their network, or hear how other professionals are navigating the current market. Every session brings a different mix of experiences and insights.
This session will be held virtually.

A few months ago, a professional with 20 years of experience was applying for roles she was fully qualified for and hearing nothing back.
Her profile looked solid. Her experience was there. But LinkedIn’s 🔍 search and ranking systems had changed, and most people did not realize how much.
At this Pivot Point Collective session, Frank Alaniz will break down how LinkedIn’s new 360Brew AI evaluates profiles, what recruiter searches are prioritizing now, and why older optimization strategies are falling behind.
The session will cover:
• How LinkedIn’s AI evaluates profiles in 2026
• Why verified skills now matter more than endorsements
• What behavioral signals affect recruiter visibility
• How Creator Mode and LinkedIn newsletters influence discoverability
• Practical profile updates project professionals should make now

May came in 💪 strong.
We kicked things off with:
✦ Two Pivot Point Collective sessions where project professionals came together to talk through career shifts, challenges, and what’s next
✦ Collaborative session with the Job Seekers Group from PMI Mile Hi Chapter with Shawn Teasley, focused on LinkedIn strategy and positioning yourself more effectively in today’s market
✦ "The Recruiter’s Perspective" another collaboration with PMI Mile Hi, featuring Brian Abrams, Ava McClain, and Kelly Fletcher sharing what recruiters are actually paying attention to during the hiring process
✦ Chapter Meeting: Leading with Empathy – A Project Manager’s Advantage with Holly Pyatt, centered on communication, leadership, and navigating team dynamics under pressure
The strongest part of this month has been seeing people continue to show up, stay connected, and support each other through conversations that matter.
June is next. Let’s keep it ↗️ moving.
